Craig E. Vigliante, DMD

Biography

Meet Dr. Vigliante

Dr. Vigliante was introduced to Oral and Maxillofacial surgery while pursuing his undergraduate studies at Fairfield University in Southern Connecticut. During this time, he had double jaw surgery to treat his anterior open bite.

Having experienced major reconstructive jaw surgery, Dr. Vigliante easily relates to patients in need of corrective jaw surgery or any other cosmetic or oral surgical procedure. He takes the time with his patients to discuss the risks and benefits of the proposed procedure and fully answers any questions.

Educational
Background

He received Doctorates in Medicine and Dental Medicine from two prestigious U.S. schools—the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating first in his class from the University of Pittsburgh, he completed his IVY League residency in General Surgery and Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), regularly ranked by U.S. News and World Report as top U.S. Hospitals.

He completed further training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery through an accredited Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship associated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
